Sit beside your player on one screen. Arrange a 7v7, 9v9, or 11v11 picture, hide the coaching arrows so they read the grass without hints, and compare before and after together.
Ask before tapping: “Who has green grass around them and nobody standing in the path of the ball?”
Click through the four stages of a ten-minute session. Nothing moves on the board until you or your player choose an action.
Open "Find the open teammate". Home #4 has the ball in midfield. On the left wing, Away #2 stands right on Home #5. On the right touchline, Home #3 has thirteen metres of open grass.
Green arrow marks an unobstructed lane. Red dashed arrow shows Away #2 blocking the left pass.
Press "Hide guidance & let them decide". All lane lines disappear and board setup locks so an accidental tap cannot change the formation mid-question.
Setup is locked. The learner can inspect any player on the pitch, while Home #4 remains the decision-maker.
Your child taps Home #3 on the right wing to preview the pass, checks the angle, then presses "Confirm pass". Nothing commits on the first tap.
Pass preview highlights Home #3 before possession transfers. Keyboard and roster buttons work the exact same way.
Pivot evaluates the pass on the starting snapshot, before defenders shifted. Switch between Before and After to show why the right-wing lane beat forcing the ball into pressure.
Verdict: Open teammate found. Toggle Before / After or press Try again to test the risky left-side pass.
Every scenario starts from deliberate 7v7 coordinates where the tactical question is visible right away. Pick any card to open that exact board.
